"Rácos hús" is a layered pork loin baked with cheese, which the oven potatoes turn into a complete, filling main course.
1. Pound the pork loin slices, salt and pepper them.
2. Cut the onion into rounds, cut the tomato pepper into strips, and slice the tomato.
3. Into an oiled baking tray lay the meat slices, and layer over the onion, the pepper, the tomato and the bacon slices.
4. Drizzle it with sour cream, and start baking it covered, so the meat softens.
5. When the meat has softened, sprinkle over grated Trappista cheese.
6. Bake on without a lid, until the cheese browns golden.
The oven potatoes
7. Cut the potatoes into wedges, toss them with a little oil and salt, and bake them crisp in a separate tray beside the meat.
Tip: The sour cream drizzle makes the layers juicy – do not leave it out.
