Description

Chicken breast fried in garlic butter is a quick yet elegant dish: basted with the foaming butter, the meat stays tender and takes on a garlic aroma.

1. Pound the chicken breast fillet a little if needed, so it is of even thickness, then salt and pepper it.

2. In a pan heat the oil, and fry the meat golden on both sides over a medium-high heat.

3. Add the butter and the crushed garlic – the butter starts to foam and takes on the aroma of the garlic.

4. Tilting the pan a little, spoon the foaming garlic butter continuously over the meat, and fry it like this for a further 3-4 minutes.

5. It is right when the meat is nicely browned outside and just cooked through and juicy inside. Serve immediately.

Tip: The buttery basting keeps the meat juicy – do not overcook it, as chicken breast dries out quickly.
